Who, what, where, when, why?

(And how?)

Beasts of Eden is really two sisters who make awesome and useful things by hand to share with others. They currently reside in Oakland, California, which suits them just fine.

Tia is the “main creative,” making toys and accessories with yarn (if not making the yarn itself) and most print design and art. She prefers hands-on over computers; she really, really loves the process of creation, and hanging out with other animals. She earned her B.A. in Comic Books. Seriously. She is finally making use of that degree.

Julia is the dapper workhorse who handles the business side of things, and focuses on creating many of the hair and head accoutrements. Most recently, she’s been refining her craft as an intern for the fabulous Topsy Turvy Design. In her “spare” time (what?) she dreams about taking over the world with song and dance, sequins and sparkles. Her attention to detail is impeccable.
